Cases where else where the public has protested against a false verdict?

somethin like in india.......in d jessica lal murder case the killer was aquitted thnx 2 his political backing but the public protested and appealed until the jury was forced 2 serve up justice...ne more examples??? cases shld not b unheard off...a lil well known n in any country or internationallyCases where else where the public has protested against a false verdict?
Ummm..I am not familiar with the case of which you are speaking but....if a verdict was entered based on public opinion that is very very sad and scary.

An outrage against a crime should never be the deciding factor in guilt...evidence should be.

Perhaps the appeal won out becasue of hard evidence and facts. The fact that the public was outraged at the initial verdict could just be coincidence...I pray.
